Oh yes!
The camp post.
Well, i realised that i'm somewhat hopeless at stringing a coherent post which would allow you to actually visualize the happenings and attempt to be in it.

So.
Camp was the tops.
I just wanted it to last a bit longer.

PHSYCHEDELICS.
PHSYC PHSYC PHSYC!
THE PHSYCEDELICS ARE PHSYC-ED!
OOO OOO OOO YEAH!

Everyone who asked to see our group cheer would all strangely give us that same expression.
The EGADS-you-guys-must-either-be-drunk-or-did-this-cheer-without-giving-it-proper-planning expression.
Which was well. true i must say.
Our group was the funnest(:
We even had wacky group napping time while it was supposed to be group discussion time.
The Ring of The Sleepers.

I felt really sluggish cos i could confirmed chop stamp be found sleeping during any free time.
The beds were really inviting okay!
P.S I got the biggest bed cos i was the bunk i/c. My 2i/c was RachWong.
BUT. i shared it with RachWong cos apparently, she was afraid of the lizards up there. (If you could tell, i am being a disclaimer.)

The bed was facing the door okay. Imagine how spooky. So you can't blame me for getting someone to sleep with me(not the way you think).
Got kicked out of the bed even before we slept. RAWR!
They wanted to keep me up through the night to play bridge with them but alas, they fell asleep(:
DebbieCheong's real freaky(read: standing at the door and watching you sleep, waiting for you to get up). Plus, i fell asleep after waking everyone up and got whacked by her on the butt.
Sidenote: Gid, DanielBeh and the other guys in my brother's bunk broke the bed.

Games were pretty much the traditional Amazing Race and Candle Fight.
We have that every year without fail.
But Candle Fight this year was rather a bummer cos we got scolded for making too much noise.
:\:\:
The skits were freaking hilarious.
The Creature From Black Lagoon. -PHSYCHEDELICS.
The Incredible Shrinking Man. -RETRO 1960s (their full name is darn long)
The Glass Key. -Eclectics
The Day The Earth Stood Still. -Banana Republic
The Silent(or was it quiet) Man. -OW!

Oh yes, like the font?
I'm trying it out.

Okay. Amidst all the hoohaa.
Camp theme: Who Am I.
I guess the messages didn't really get to me effectively enough cos uncle bobby speaks cheeminology.
But what mattered was that i felt a revival in the youths.
Especially in my own spiritual life.
Cos if you need to know, i HAVE happen to been drifting further and further away from God.
In my actions and words, i don't feel the God-element anymore.
Or at least i used to feel that way.
& one thing i'm really thankful for is that i know that there are people out there for me.
Maybe i'll give this whole wanting-to-switch-churches thing another chance.
Cos after this camp, i feel a whole new feeling.
REVIVAL and a renewed zest for GOD.
I wanna start my relationship with Him on a clean slate.
& even though i'm a flower quickly fading. Here today and gone tomorrow. A wave tossed in the ocean. A vapour in the wind. Still HE, hears me when i'm calling. HE catches me when i'm falling. HE told me who i am. I am HIS.
See how incredible my heavenly daddy is?
Now i don't care whether the song is stuck in my head.
I don't care how irritating it used to be. Having the song in my head, and not being able to get it out.
I want it to stay there now. For as long as it can.
Serving as a reminder if at anytime i start to have doubts.

All that happened in GBCYOUTHCAMP '06 will be deeply etched in my memories.

Who am I.
I Am Yours.
I am Yours Lord, use me.
