So, i was elated upon opening my fridge and spotting a plastic bag filled with larger than life 'oranges'. But upon closer inspection, i came to the realisation that it was not an orange but a peeled pomelo, sitting prettily in my fridge, waiting for someone to mistake it for a huge juicy orange. I corrected my mistake and reached out for the real orange this time around. And now i am happily enjoying the sweet tasting orange coloured thing. I've got such a fetish for mandarin oranges. Maybe it's the CNY mood.I shall kill everyone with my sachaarine sweetness today. But it makes no difference since i have been doing so since my existence 15 years, 2 months and 10 days ago. Hmmm, i say, no wonder the death rate has been so steadily sliding. Sheesh sze-ern. Random i know.
Tell me, what can you do when you're waiting pathetically alone for a bus that just left a few seconds after reaching the bus stop; stranded without my Ippie and left only with the communication device that has been vibrating non-stop all cos of Emma and Gid's stupefied(but thankfully entertaining) sms-es; not having even a single decent piece of paper to doodle on; listening to 2 very ultra random ladies who walked past and thereafter couldn't stop cooing on how cute my outfit was(i was wearing coy tee and skirt for goodness' sake!)?
Model answer: Sit there and smile prettily, pretending that you have the utmost patience to wait for another bus that might not come for the next 15-20 mins.
My(not so model but still an answer nonetheless) answer: Get comfortable(read:sit crossed legged and lean against the backboard), finish reading the sms-es, laugh at them(the sms-es) and then drift off to sleep... Until the bus comes that is. If not the whole cycle would have to repeat itself again. And i wouldn't have enough space here to type out whatever thing happened.
Hubba hubba.
Uncle YimSung's devotion today was rather insightful i have to say. Mother Theresa and inner beauty. Mother Theresa's famous words were really awesome and inspiring man. I paraphrase and quote(roughly la) : 'I am a little pencil in the hands of a writing God. He is using me to write a love letter to everyone' Something along that sexy line la.
The combined practice was hilarious la. No seriously, you should've seen it. We were all shaking with laughter so hard. I guess they've learnt their lesson not to place BB and GB in a marching contingent for something as grand as enrolment service. And a GOH contingent at that. So now, to make up for our(BOTH GB AND BB to be fair) shortcomings and inability to colaborate properly to create a successful practice; we know have 4 drill practices a week. The combined practice making the fourth. The remaining 3 are the usual ones. But i forsee that things will get better and hopefully we'll enjoy the practices. Now, cross your fingers hard(:
Emma wanted to know every single minute detail of our practice. Tsk tsk darl.
Please heed the following advice i am going to give you all(for free): Do not plan a lunch appointment with Vanessa Yong Hui Ming ever. You don't know what you're gonna get yourself into with all that nonsense coming from her.
FWAHAHAH!
Be back later. Now i'm off to get ready for ballet.
